Chill out with a delightful Blueberry-Raspberry Ice Cream Float, a refreshing drink featuring a homemade base bursting with the flavors of juicy blueberries and raspberries, making it the perfect summer cool-down.
Ingredients
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 lime
1/2 cup sparkling water
1/2 tbsp lemonsito
2 scoops vanilla ice cream or your flavor of choice
1/3 cup ice, crushed
Directions
In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, lime juice, and water.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
Place the mixture in a blender to make it into a purée.
Let cool at room temperature then refrigerate.
In a glass, pour the berry puree at the base.
Add some frozen berries and crushed ice.
Pour lemonsito and sparkling water until just below the brim.
Adjust to get your desired taste.
Top with the vanilla ice cream.
