How To Use Walnut Oil:
Use as you would use a regular oil in recipes. Use in salads and crudités, pasta, and cold sauces or other cold dishes, or use as seasoning on fish and steaks just before serving. You can also use it in desserts to add a nutty flavor.
Beet Carpaccio with Apples
240 g cooked red beets
1 Granny Smith apple
15 g walnut kernels
1 tbsp of walnut oil
Freshly ground pepper
Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Peel and cut the beets into very thin round slices.
Arrange them nicely on a plate. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
Remove the seeds then cut finely into quarters. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Season with freshly ground pepper. Add the apple slices to the center of the beet carpaccio.
Drizzle with walnut oil. Crush the walnut kernels and sprinkle them over the carpaccio.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
