T-Series Sauvignon Blanc Victoria & Tasmania
750 ml
With a temperate growing season, the grapes ripened fully on the vine and produced very intense varietal flavors. This consistent growth allowed our vignerons to perfectly time their pick which maximized these flavors while retaining the ideal natural acid. The fruit was whole-bunch-pressed and fermented at low temperatures to optimize the aromatics that sauvignon blanc can deliver. Aged on lees with regular battonage resulted in an elegant and subtle complexity that matched the refined yet full flavors. The wine has seen a small amount of time in oak to further add to the texture and lingering finish.

Tasting notes
Vibrant tropical and fresh fruits on the nose integrated with the flavors of lime and gooseberry, driving the palate with natural acidity. The complexity and persistence of fruit, complemented by the depth of the palate, justifies our philosophy of combining our two great climatic regions.

About Taltarni
Taltarni Vineyards was established in 1969. It is one of the first wineries of Victoria’s Pyrenees wine region. Owner John Goelet, a direct descendant of the Guestier wine merchant family of Bordeaux, discovered and purchased Taltarni Vineyard after conducting a worldwide search for a site comparable to the great vineyards of Bordeaux.
Initial plantings were of Bordeaux varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Shortly thereafter, Taltarni extended its plantings to encompass Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz as well as Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, enabling us to now showcase a diverse portfolio of sparkling, red and white wines.
