Try this Italian sandwich called tramezzino, adapted from the recipe courtesy of Citterio. Perfect for spooky-looking treats for your Halloween hors d'oeuvres.

Ingredients

100 g Salami di Milano
Sausage, cut in sticks
White bread, sliced
Black olives
Salted pretzel sticks
Mayonnaise
Cheese, cut in strings

Directions

Cut the white bread into discs with a round cookie cutter.
Spread mayonnaise on the bread discs.
On one of the discs, place 3 sausage sticks on each side to form the spider's legs.
Top with cheese slices.
On another disc, place 3 pretzel sticks and top with Salami slices.
Close with discs of bread with another disc and garnish with sliced black olives to form the eyes.
Serve on your hors d’oeuvre platter.
