Instant Seafood Paella Spice Mix
This paella seasoning is a traditional blend of spices to help you make the best seafood paella. Made with real saffron, lemon, garlic, a melange of other spices, it gives authenticity to a classic seafood paella. It is also gluten-free.
Inspired by Paella a la Marinera or fisherman's paella this mix goes perfectly with shrimp, fish and shellfish.
One of the most recognized brands in Spain, Carmencita started in 1920 and has long since been trusted when it comes to paella seasoning.
Storage and Instructions:
Keep in a cool, dry, and dark place.
A sachet for every 400 grams of rice, serves 4-6 persons.
Add to boiling water, stir to dissolve before adding the rice.
Do not add other spices except salt, when necessary.
Dehydrated garlic, salt, mild paprika, black pepper, dehydrated lemon, maltodextrin, parsley, cloves, saffron and saffron extract (1%).

1 3/4 cups of paella rice
Seafood (8 shrimps, 6 mussels, 6 clams, 4oz of chopped squid, 4oz of diced tuna)
3 ripe tomatoes, grated
1 small red pepper, sliced
1 garlic head
1 packet Carmencita Paellero Marinera
10 tbsp olive oil
2 quarts of water
Fry separately these ingredients then set aside: pepper slices with garlic, prawns, squid and tuna, then the grated tomatoes. Set aside.
In a pan, heat olive oil then add the water (aroudn 8 cups) to boil.
Add the sachet of the seafood paella mix while stirring for a few moments.
Then add the rice.
Add the seafood and the pepper, distributing them well.
Simmer at medium heat for 15 or 20 minutes until the stock is absorbed.
Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
