Ingredients:
150g or half a pack of GERALD.ph Smoked Salmon
1 tbsp crème fraîche (optional)
200g cream cheese
Juice from half a lemon
small bunch dill or chives, chopped
Toast or breadsticks to serve
Directions
Chop smoked salmon into small pieces.
Mix cream cheese, crème fraîche (if you have it), and lemon juice into a blender or a food processor with generously sprinkling of black pepper until well blended. Do not over blend at this point, as you would still be adding the salmon.
Add the smoked salmon and pulse a few times if you want the paté chunky or mix some more if you want the paté smooth and pink.
Fold the herbs into the paté and spoon into a nice ramekin or bowl and serve. Serve with toast for a perfect starter, or as a dip with breadsticks.
