Cured sausage with whole hazelnuts from pork meat of high quality, seasoned with expertise gained throughout the years.

A traditional specialty that combines the softness and flavor of the meat with the crunchiness of hazelnuts.
Slice it medium-thick, and serve it alongside Comte and a rich Cotes du Rhone.

With an earthy texture and delicious taste, it is a great equivalent to Italian salami.


It can be served as an appetizer, sliced, cold and a great addition to the aperitif platter or charcuterie plates to serve to your family or friends.

It is also an excellent addition to make your pasta dishes more gourmet.

Sliced thinly and it inserts tastily in sandwiches.

Recipe Suggestion:

Tagliatelle in Hazelnut Saucisson and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

250 g Barilla Tagliatelle
half pack Saucisson with Hazelnuts
1 can tomatoes
1 green chili pepper, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Cook tagliatelle as per directions from the package.
Cut the saucisson into strips.
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Fry garlic until a little brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and water.
Add the saucisson slices.
Simmer over low heat until it boils.
Pour over tagliatelle pasta.
Serve and enjoy!

Excellent to nibble on when cut into thin slices, texture is good, color is nice, interesting taste and crunch!

great texture, good pairing
great crunchy texture, sliced it up and paired with some good ol' red wine and cheese for a little soirée with friends, we totes had a nice time
