Take them straight from the pack. Mix them with your trail mixes. Add them in your breakfast porridge, cereals, oatmeal, muesli or crush and sprinkle even on a simple buttered bread.
An interesting and healthy addition to sweet or savory or dishes, salads, pasta, desserts, or soups. Bake with them, use them as toppings, garnish, or crushed fillings.
French Toast in Roasted Almonds
60 g gluten-free bread or any bread
100 ml skimmed milk
2 tbsp sweetener for baking
30 g roasted almonds, crushed
In a bowl, beat the egg into an omelet.
In another, pour the milk.
Dip the slices of bread in the milk until they soften.
Pass them then in the beaten egg on both sides.
Heat a nonstick pan and dry-cook the slices of bread on both sides until golden brown in color.
Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with crushed roasted almonds and sweetener.
Serve warm and enjoy!
