Rigogolo di Castellina Toscana 2017

Essentially a baby Supertuscan, Sangiovese-based dry red wines blended with the non-native grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot making Italian's finest of wines a delicious twist.

A bouquet of berries with hints of fresh grape skins and subtle spicy notes. Round on the palate with ripe attack complemented by beautiful fullness. A well-balanced, simple wine to drink every day.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with purple reflections. Plums, chocolate, spices, and herbs emerge spontaneously. Clean mineral notes outline the finish and confer an attractive element of freshness.

It pairs well with roasted meats, stews, and mature cheeses.
