Ingredients:

Mycoprotein™, Free Range Egg White Powder, Natural Caramelized Sugar, Gluten-Free Roasted Barley Malt Extract, Calcium Acetate (stabilizer), Calcium Chloride (firming agent).

*There have been rare cases of allergic reactions to Quorn products, which contain Mycoprotein™, a member of the fungi/mould family. Mycoprotein™ is high in protein and fiber which may cause intolerance in some people.

Cooking Instructions:

Remove from packaging and cook frozen.

Stove - In a cooking pan for 15 minutes
1. Heat your chosen sauce and simmer gently for 3 minutes.
2. Stir in Quorn Chunks.
3. Simmer over medium heat for 12 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

Microwave - In a microwave for 6 minutes
1. Place Quorn Chunks into a microwavable container.
2. Add your chosen sauce and mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap, pierce and heat on high (700w) for 3 minutes.
3. Let stand for 1 minute. Stir well, cover and heat for 3 minutes.
4. Let stand for 1 minute before serving.
 

Storage:

Keep frozen below -18°C.
Do not refreeze once thawed.

Tortang Talong with Quorn Grounds

Serves 4

Ingredients

4 pcs Eggplant
2 pcs Raw Egg
1 tsp. Salt
6 tbsp. Cooking Oil
100 g Onion, Chopped
50 g Garlic, Minced
200 g Quorn Grounds
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Grill the eggplant until the color of the skin is almost black.
Let the eggplant cool for a while, then peel the skin off. Set aside.
Crack the eggs and place in a bowl.
Add salt and beat. Set aside.
Put 2 tbsp. of oil in a sauté pan, set over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic mix and cook until onion is translucent
Add the Quorn Grounds and season with salt, then cook for about 5 minutes. Set aside.
Place the eggplant on a flat surface and flatten using a fork.
Dip the flattened eggplant in the beaten egg mixture.
Heat the pan and pour the cooking oil in medium heat.
Lay the eggplants (now dipped in the beaten egg mixture) into the pan, then put the mixture of sautéed mince on top of the eggplant.
Make sure that both sides are cooked. Frying time will take about 3 – 4 minutes per side on medium heat.
