Pangasius fish, also called Basa fish or sometimes referred to as river cobbler, is a certain type of shark catfish primarily found in the fresh waters of South and Southeast Asia. Top 10 in demand fish in the US with its mild to sweet flavor, white meat and flaky texture when cooked - the new darling "panga" in aquaculture.
Its taste is comparable to Cream Dory for your fish recipes. Pangasius fillet can also be an alternative in recipes that call for tilapia or any catfish. It is easy to cook and compatible to any cuisines, from Asian to European.

Buttery Pangasius in Lemony Sauce
1 pack Pangasius fish fillet
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lemon (2 tbsp lemon juice, lemon cuts for garnish)
2 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
Basil leaves, minced (part for garnish)
Salt and pepper
Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter until golden brown. Pour in lemon juice and basil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir. Remove from stovetop.
Pan-fried: sprinkle olive oil on pan and pan-fry the fillets over medium heat until golden brown.
Serve fish fillets on a plate and top with sauce, sprinkled with basil and lemon garnishings.
