*adapted from Villa Germania
Ingredients
1 pack organic chicken drumettes
1 dessert spoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon spicy paprika
6 chopped garlic cloves
1 chopped onion
500 ml of oil for frying
1 cup smoked or smoked flavored ketchup
½ cup vinegar
1 dessert spoon dehydrated garlic, onion and parsley
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper sauce
Directions
Place the chicken drumettes in an oven-safe dish and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour to let the flavors develop.
Once marinated, heat oil in a pan and fry the drumettes until they turn golden and crispy.
Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
In a separate saucepan, combine ketchup, vinegar, dried garlic and onion, parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer until it thickens into a rich sauce.
Serve the drumettes with the sauce.
