Almond Crust French Toast
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
sweetener (optional)
a dash of vanilla extract
2 slices whole grain bread
2 spoonfulls of almond meal
2 tsp honey
Directions
In a bowl, combine the egg, milk, sweetener and vanilla extract.
Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture then place it on waxed paper.
Cover each slice with almond meal.
Cook on a nonstick pan for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Drizzle with honey.
Serve and enjoy!
