Recipe Suggestion:
Munster Tartiflette
Ingredients
6 potatoes
2 g smoked bacon
2 Munster cheese slices
2 tbsp spring onions, finely chopped
1/2 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
125 ml of cream fraiche
Salt and pepper
1 knob of butter for cooking
Directions
Wash and peel the potatoes, cut them into slices.
Cook in saltwater for 10 minutes, making sure that they stay firm.
Drain after.
Heat pan with butter, then brown the spring onions and garlic.
Then add the bacon and the cream fraiche.
Add to potatoes and mix well.
Scrape some crusts of Munster then cut 2 flat disks out of it.
Cut the disks again into two.
Layer the potato mixture in a baking dish.
Top with 2 cuts of Munster cheese.
Repeat until layering is done.
Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 200°, thermostat 6-7.
Serve and enjoy!
