Potato-Hungarian Sausage Dish
1 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp butter
5 Hungarian sausages
5 potatoes, thickly sliced with skin
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tbsp Sriracha hot chili sauce
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 pinch basil
Salt and pepper
Heat extra virgin olive oil on a pan over medium heat.
Cut sausages in desired size.
Cook on the heated pan with oil until brown on the sides.
Remove from the pan then set aside.
On the same pan, melt butter then add sliced onions, chopped garlic, and hot sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stir from time to time and cook until the onions become translucent.
Add potatoes and toss to coat them with the sauce.
Add chicken stock and stir.
Cover the pan, leave a little space, stir occasionally until potatoes are half tender.
Uncover and add the sausage back in. Cook for another few minutes until the potatoes are fully tender.
Serve and enjoy!
