Tenderloin Tips (Fillet Cubes) - Grass-Fed Australian Premium Beef

₱ 740

Cut from the tapered end of the beef tenderloin, these fillet cubes come from the same naturally tender muscle used for filet mignon. Expect fine-grained texture, minimal connective tissue, and quick cooking performance in every batch.

Sourced from grass-fed Australian cattle, this cut is typically leaner with a more favorable fatty acid profile, including higher levels of omega‑3 compared to grain-fed beef.

Each portion is trimmed, cubed, and flash-frozen to maintain its natural structure—helping preserve moisture, texture, and overall quality straight from freezer to pan.

This is a clean, mild-flavored cut designed for speed and versatility—ideal when you want tender beef without the prep work.

An exceptional choice for quick weeknight stir-fries, classic beef salpicao, steak bites, or gourmet skewers.

Chef’s Tips for Melt-in-Your-Mouth Beef:

  • Cook Over High Heat: Tenderloin is lean and cooks quickly—use high heat to develop a browned exterior while maintaining a juicy interior.
  • Avoid Overcrowding: Cook in small batches to ensure proper searing rather than steaming.
  • Season Simply or Marinate Lightly: The naturally mild flavor works well with garlic, soy sauce, butter, or herbs without the need for heavy marinades.

Common Questions

What exactly are beef tenderloin tips?

Tenderloin tips are premium, bite-sized cubes cut from the narrower tail-end of the whole beef tenderloin (the exact same muscle that yields filet mignon). They offer similar tenderness to filet mignon, though less uniform in shape.

Why choose grass-fed Australian beef over grain-fed varieties?

Grass-fed Australian beef is typically raised on pasture-based diets. This diet can create a more distinct flavor profile, depending on pasture and finishing practices.

Do I need to marinate tenderloin tips to make them tender?

No, marination is not required for tenderization. Because this cut comes from the least active muscle on the animal, it is naturally soft and succulent. Marinate only if you want to infuse specific external flavors into your recipe.

How to Prepare & Cook Tenderloin Tips

01
Slow Thawing: Remove the meat from its freezer packaging, place it on a deep rimmed dish, and allow it to defrost inside the refrigerator for about 6–12 hours (depending on portion size) to retain its natural structure.
02
Surface Prep: Pat the beef cubes completely dry using paper towels to help achieve a proper sear. Season lightly with sea salt and cracked black pepper immediately before they touch the hot pan.
03
Rare Cooking: Crank your cooking pan to high heat. Add the beef tips in a single layer and sear rapidly for 1 to 2 minutes per side, then remove promptly from heat.
04
Medium Cooking: Sear over high heat for 1 minute per side to develop a rich crust and enhance flavor. Drop the stove to medium heat and cook gently for an additional 2 to 3 minutes per side.
05
Resting: Transfer the cooked beef tips to a warm plate and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving, so the juices can redistribute for a tender finish.

easy to cook
I always have a thawed batch in my fridge and pan-fry it whenever I feel like having some steak bites. It stays good for 7 days in the fridge and adds extra flavour. It's a must-have in our home.

Impressive tips
I have this seed of doubt for every meat that is already cut and sold as pieces. I normally would opt for whole uncut ones. I bought this on a whim as I was pressed for time and resources but all my doubts went out of the kitchen exhaust once I got a hold of these and worked with them. I was very impressed with the quality. There is no uncanny smell on the meat, the meat texture is of quality, and they cook nicely. The taste after was incredible! I will surely buy these again.
