Refrigerate 20 minutes before opening.
Consume or refrigerate after opening.
Remove both sides and gently slide out by applying pressure on one end.
Ideal for appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, canapés, and as a present.
It is made usually into a pâté, a parfait (a frozen dessert) or mousse, or served together with steak with lemon juice and a sprinkle of black pepper.
It is smooth and goes well with white wine or a nice bread. Can be served on Blinis or toasted bread.
Serve at a temperature between +8°C and + 12°C.
Toast with Foie Gras and Figs
2 slices of artisan bread of choice
2 thin slices of Foie Gras (Goose Liver Block)
1 fig chutney
Toast the slice of bread.
Place 1/2 slice of foie gras on each toast and top with fig chutney.
Pair with a bed of salad
Serve and enjoy!
