A traditional charcuterie from an authentic French recipe of duck leg confit cooked slowly submerged in its own fat over low heat, sometimes called a potted duck.’s very own homemade luscious spread that keeps longer, an enjoyable and spreadable gourmet charcuterie. It is also an amazing classy entrée. This gastronomy is popularized since the end of the 19th century by the city of Le Mans, conceived as early as the 15th century in Touraine, France.

How to Serve Pork Rillettes

  •        Scrape some fat aside and spread on crusty bread, side with crunchy pickles such as pickled onions, pickled dills, or pickled fruits.
  •        Add in a charcuterie plate or in a salad, top on bruschetta or baked potatoes.
  •        It can be spread on bread to make a sandwich
  • It can also be added in small quantities to certain recipes to give a touch of duck taste.

Serving Suggestion:

Duck Rillette Quesadilla


4 tortilla wraps
2 tomatoes
2 red bell peppers
Duck rillettes
Cheddar cheese, grated


Grill tomatoes and red bell peppers then cut into slices.
Spread a generous serving of rillette on tortillas.
Add grilled tomatoes and bell peppers.
Top with grated cheese.
Fold tortilla and wrap in foil
Heat on a stove using a flat plan.
Serve with salsa and your sauce of choice.
