Coq au Vin (Chicken in Red Wine)

A hearty French chicken stew, cooked with red wine, mushrooms, onions, pork belly, and sometimes, with garlic. This convenient packaged meal is cooked, frozen, and ready to serve immediately after reheating. Best served with roasted or mashed potatoes, bread, or rice.


Bring a large volume of water to a boil. Submerge the still-frozen vacuum pack into the simmering water. Heat for 15 minutes from the moment it starts to simmer, without boiling.
