A multi-awarded wine in both Asia and Europe, Colle Corviano's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo has a rich fruity taste, lively, and elegantly surrounded by oak spices. Intense ruby-red, its bouquet is of ripe red fruits. A vibrant juicy red wine that matches well with cured meats, fresh cheeses, poultry, and vegetable stews.

Vinification

The grapes are carefully selected in mid-October, stalks removed then a traditional temperature controlled fermentation takes place on the skins in stainless steel for 10 days with periodic pumping over. The wine is then aged for six months in 34hl French oak barrels finishing with bottle rest for three months.
