Salted Cod Fillets

The cod portions taken from the middle part of the cod fish is the tastiest and most tender part. This succulent fillets are prized for its soft texture and salted flavor. Perfect for all light seafood dishes.


Cooking without thawing

Oven (210°C): Brush the fillets with oil and place them in a dish skin side up. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.

Steamer: Cook the fillets for 10-14 minutes in a covered steamer basket over simmering water.

Microwave (900 watts): Cook the fillets in a suitable dish, skin side down, for 4-6 minutes for 2 fillets, covered, flipping halfway. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Cooking with thawing

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or place in a dish under running water.

Pan: Cook the fillets with a little oil in a hot pan for 5-10 minutes over medium heat.

gorgeous cod
This cod is gorgeous and never disappoints, absorbs well the flavors. Easy on the eyes, easy on the mouth, firm and tender. Great fillet
