Storage & Shelf Life
- Freezer Storage: Keep the salted cod fillets in the freezer at -18°C until the best-before date indicated on the packaging.
- After Opening: Once opened, rewrap the remaining portions tightly in food-safe packaging or an airtight container before returning to the freezer.
- Do Not Refreeze:Never refreeze a thawed product, as this can affect both the texture and quality of the fish.
- Refrigerated Storage (If Thawed): If thawed, store in the refrigerator (0–4°C) and consume within 24 hours.
- Handling Tip: For best results, thaw only the amount you plan to cook and keep the rest frozen to maintain peak freshness and flavor.
