Saint-Pierre has become known globally as a perfect representative of the Saint-Julien Grands Crus Classés. Founded in the 17th Century, undergone dark times of break up then re-formed by Henri Martin in 1982 through persistence and luck. Since then, through the owners' commitment, the wine has reflourished as it had been before, in the year of the famous classification.

Tasting Notes

Intense dark violet gives off an intense bouquet of spices and aging oaks, lush soft fruits, licorice, vanilla, smokey toasted notes. On the palate, one can sense the sweetness of blackcurrants, dark cherry with earthy and cocoa hints. It has dense volume with compact yet velvety tannins, then a delicate yet persistent length and a balanced finish.
