A subtle blend of its grape varieties, this classic vintage has a great complexity yet a nice delicacy with very long persistence.

The Château Poujeaux vineyard takes meticulous care from the harvest, in selection and sorting of the grapes, to vinification and aging of the vintages.

Tasting Notes

An uncompromising, expressive, delicate, and complex nose in which aromas of blackberries, sour cherries, and floral aromas mingle with intensity. Light on the palate yet dense with silky tannins.

bold and structured
So good on its own or paired with desserts and cheeses. The tannins are soft first then becomes mild. It has fruity taste, well balanced, great value.
