The grapes are harvested almost overripe, which brings all the aromas of Château Haut-Marbuzet reclassified as Cru Exceptionnel in 2003, formerly Cru Bourgeois, due to the quality of its wines.

Haut-Marbuzet produces powerful, spicy wines with exotic flavors, combining subtlety and classicism.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful deep color that falls between ruby and purple with delicate aromas of red fruits, very elegant oak, and powerful on the nose. On the palate, a balance of fine and tight tannins, round and fleshy on the attack that gradually becomes delicate and subtle then, a nice finalé.
