 40% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Peti Verdot


Ruby in color with oak, clay, earth and wood in the nose. Round, sweet dark berries in the mouth, but there is a woody dry sensation in the finish. This is the 50th vintage for the owner. 




Chateau Haut Marbuzet is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted braised and grilled dishes. Haut Marbuzet is also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms and pasta.(thewinecellarinsider)

Winemaker Notes
