This vibrant garnet-red Château Cap de Fer is grown from a traditional vinification with a submerged pomace cap in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Extended maceration and at least 12 months ageing.

Located on a superb clay-gravel plateau bordering the town of Saint Loubés, the vineyard of enjoys a low frost-resistant exposure, which is very favorable to the ripening of its precious grapes.

Tasting notes

Highly expressive nose of ultra ripe fruits with a hint of tobacco and roasted toast. On the palate, it has a good full bodied fruity taste with a hint of dark chocolate flowing into spicy flavours. Powerful and harmonious with slightly astringent tannins.


Excellent pairing with cold cuts, red and white meats, dishes served with a sauce, grilled steaks, and beef.
