These whole natural chanterelles are carefully sorted, trimmed and washed before freezing. The chanterelles must be blanched before cooking. Best served as an accompaniment to red meats and shellfish.

The mushrooms should be blanched before cooking in order to avoid any bitterness: immerse the mushrooms in a saucepan of slightly salted boiling water (a pinch of salt). Cook for 30 seconds after resuming simmering. Drain. Then pour the mushrooms in a hot pan with a little butter. Cook over medium heat for 4:30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a teaspoon of garlic and a teaspoon of chopped parsley. Continue cooking for 2 minutes over medium heat.

great mushrooms
These are great mushrooms. I prefer the frozen variety because they can be easily fried from frozen and end up way tastier.

better frozen than dried
I quite like this frozen better than dried and easier than fresh. This mushroom is great with stir-fry and soups.
