This Gournay Cheese, named by the maker François Boursin from a small town he grew up in made from an authentic French cow's milk cheese called fromage frais (fresh cheese). His recipe became the first flavored fresh cheese to be sold throughout France.
Easily spread onto your favorite cracker. Pairs perfectly with most wines, dry white wine or fruity red wine such as Beaujolais. It is really more than just a pretty spread... It can also be a great addition to vegetable dishes, raw vegetables, to cream up creamy sauces, and to even season sandwiches or burgers alike. The cheese melts as well to create a smooth sauce for pasta and chicken. This cheese is a favorite brand amongst top chefs.
