This Gournay Cheese, named by the maker François Boursin from a small town he grew up in made from an authentic French cow's milk cheese called fromage frais (fresh cheese). His recipe became the first flavored fresh cheese to be sold throughout France.

Easily spread onto your favorite cracker. Pairs perfectly with most wines, dry white wine or fruity red wine such as Beaujolais. It is really more than just a pretty spread... It can also be a great addition to vegetable dishes, raw vegetables, cream-up creamy sauces, and even season sandwiches or burgers alike. The cheese melts as well to create a smooth sauce for pasta and chicken. This cheese is a favorite brand amongst top chefs.

No party or gathering is ever truly complete without snacks and Boursin Garlic Herbs Cheese is the perfect addition to your cheese platter.

Cheese Platter Idea:

3 ounces per guest of Boursin cheese with the other types of cheese - firm, aged, blue, and soft.
Add a few slices of salami, prosciutto, and pepperoni for the charcuteries.
Mix in a little handful of nuts like cashew, pistachios, walnuts, or almonds.
Sprinkle fresh or dried fruit or chocolate bits to have contrast to the flavor profile.
Side with crackers, bread, or bagel thin slices.

Prime Rib Garlic & Herbs Steak


1 pack USDA Choice Beef Prime Rib
Boursin (Garlic & Herbs)
Salt and ground black pepper


Make sure the meat is thawed and at room temperature.
Rub with Boursin garlic and herb butter into the meat and coat well.
Season with salt and pepper.
On a cast-iron pan, cook the steak 2 to 3 minutes on each side, for rare, 4 minutes for each side for medium, and 4-6 minutes per side for well done.
Let rest for a few minutes so that meat can relax and juice can spread back to the entire meat.
Serve and enjoy!
