Classic dip for your mozzarella sticks and smiley fries hors d'oeuvre ensemble. You can do better than store bought. It is super easy to make at home and ready in minutes!


2 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp dried oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ bottle Barilla Basilico Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste


In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sauté crushed garlic cloves until browned.
Stir in basilico sauce and oregano.
Add salt and pepper when needed.
Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes then adjust to low heat.
Let sit to cool down.
Serve with baked or pan-fried mozzarella sticks and smiley fries.

Discover this recipe with the two main ingredients cooked separately yet reunited in one saucy drizzle. Pair with quinoa to make a delicious lenten dish.


1/2 pack Scallops (roe off)
1 pack Cod Fish Fillet Portions
1/2 cup Isigny French butter
2 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp lemonsito
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper


In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Pat-dry the cod fillet portions using paper towels.
Rub the fillets with the dry spice mixture then set aside.
In a pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté until brown.
Add scallops and cook on one side until brown.
Flip to cook the other side until firm and cooked.
Remove scallops from the pan and put on a serving plate.
Sprinkle it with salt and pepper to taste.
In the same pan with remaining butter, add lemonsito.
Heat until saucy consistency is reached then remove from pan and set aside.
Pour olive oil in the same pan, sear the fillets for about 3 minutes.
Flip until the other side is also cooked through.
Drizzle the lemon sauce on the scallops and the fillets.
Pair with quinoa or whole wheat pasta.
Serve and enjoy!

Lamb Leg Roast

Roasting can sound intimidating. But to share a little secret: all you really need is a good herb rub and your trusty oven to impress your guests. With quality meat on hand, it only takes very little effort to serve up a feast. 


1 pack lamb leg bone-in
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Mustard de Dijon
Salt and ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Cover baking pan with aluminum foil.
Combine herbs and spices, minced garlic, and mustard in a bowl.
Pat dry the lamb leg using paper towels.
Rub garlic mixture thoroughly all over the lamb.
Place lamb in the baking pan and roast in the oven until the desired doneness (1.5 to 1.75 hours).
Make sure to check the internal temperature at 145 °F .
Let sit 15 minutes before cutting.
Serve immediately with baked potatoes.
