What else to serve with an elegant bottle of champagne? Try this rich yet light recipe that will enhance the taste of your beverage. Let's get started!


300 g smoked salmon
1 your selection of bread sliced thinly and cubed
2 tbsp. crème fraîche
1 tub of cream cheese
2 large lemons (juice and zest)
1 large bunch of dill, part chopped finely, part sprigs reserved
freshly milled black pepper to season


Slice the breads into desired size and shape. Toast for 10 to 15 minutes, or until crisp.

Mix the crème fraîche, cream cheese, dill, lemon juice and half the zest, then add freshly milled black pepper.

Arrange the crisp bread pieces on elegant serving trays. Spoon some cream cheese filling on top of each of the pieces of bread, using a fork to make the swirls. Slice ribbons of smoked salmon, then roll and twist, and place on top of each piece.

Add individual sprigs of dill on top and couple of strands of the lemon zest to garnish. Bon appétit!

1 pack USDA Choice Beef Prime Rib
1 Boursin (Garlic & Herbs)

salt and ground black pepper



Make sure the meat is thawed and at room temperature.

Rub with boursin garlic and herb butter into the meat and coat well.

Season with salt and pepper.

On a cast iron pan, cook the steak 2 to 3 minutes each side, for rare, 4 minutes each side for medium, and 4-6 minutes per side for well done.

Let rest for a few minutes so that meat can relax and juice can spread back to the entire meat.

Serve and enjoy!
