The Cobram Estate Classic Flavour Intensity is crafted from olives grown in Australia’s leading groves on the banks of the Murray River. Our oil master skillfully combines the leading varieties from each estate to create a distinctive, first press Extra Virgin Olive Oil packed with appealing fresh fruity aromas and penetrating flavors.
 
The Picual variety of olive originated from Spain and is the main variety of olive used to make our Cobram Estate Classic Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Renowned for its fruity punchiness and typical aromatic notes of tomato bush, our Picual also gives beautifully clean balance on the palate. 

Sensory Properties: 

Nil of sensorial defects.
Extra virgin olive oil combines fresh grassy aromas with complex fruity flavors. The finish displays medium bitterness and balanced pungency, according to the style. Ideal for cooking drizzled over salads, roast vegetables, meat, and fish or dipping with bread.

Basil Pistachio Pesto

Ingredients 

¼ cup pistachio kernels
40g parmesan, roughly chopped
1/3 cup Cobram Estate Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tsp water
Sea-salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper, to season

Directions

Place the pistachios and parmesan into a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped. Add oil, basil, and water. Pulse until rough paste forms. Season with salt and pepper then serve.

Serve and enjoy!

Great quality
Excellent value, great quality. Easily blends with the taste of the dishes and very lovely to drizzle over salads. It has that uniqueness in it that stands out from the others I've tried before. Definitely a keeper.
